Junwei Lu (呂俊葳) is a film curator and PhD candidate in Film Studies at University of Glasgow. Oscillating between academia and creative practice, his work explores how cinema reflects the entanglement of colonial memories, national identity, and transnational cultural fluidity with children. He has curated film festivals in Taiwan and collaborated with Glasgow Short Film Festival, aiming to bridge interdisciplinary and cross-cultural dialogues through film and research. Blending academic insight with curatorial imagination, Junwei is passionate about discovering films that cross borders and emotions - inviting audiences to see, feel, and think differently through the lens of cinema.

YenJu Chen
Marketing manager & FOH Lead
Yen-Ju Chen (Franzine) is an independent curator from Taiwan with extensive experience in theatre as a Front-of-House Manager, specialising in audience services and programme marketing. She is currently pursuing an MLitt in Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) at the Glasgow School of Art, with a strong interest in integrating audience participation across performance and visual arts. At TFFS, she serves as the Marketing Lead. Cinema is a key passion and source of inspiration in her life, and she is excited to share the vibrant flavours of Taiwanese cinema with Scottish audiences.

I Chen Huang is a Taiwanese interaction designer based in Edinburgh. She holds an MSc in Design and Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh. Her work focuses on expanding the possibilities of interaction — between people, and between individuals and society — through thoughtful and innovative design.
At TFFS, she leads the visual identity and website design, aiming to foster deeper connections between Taiwan and the world through cinema and digital culture.

Ching Lu (Bonnie) is a Taiwanese postgraduate student at the University of Glasgow, passionate about cultural exchange and audience connection. Her studies in Museum Education centre on visitor experience and interdisciplinary arts education, exploring how museums and cultural events can foster meaningful learning and social dialogue.
At TFFS, she works on social media promotion and communications, aiming to connect Taiwanese cinema with Scotland’s creative arts scene and its audiences.

LinChun Peng
Video Editor
LinChun Peng, a Taiwanese student who grew up in Shanghai, brings a unique cross-cultural outlook to her work. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Management at the University of Glasgow, where her studies focus on interpersonal collaboration and marketing strategies.
Driven by her passion and curiosity for cinema, she joined the TFFS team. She contributes by editing promotional trailers, using visual media to capture the festival’s spirit, and by supporting on-site operations to ensure a smooth audience experience. Her work aims to foster connection and share Taiwanese stories with the world.

LinChun Peng
Video Editor

Hsin-Ying Chou studied Industrial Design at university and is currently pursuing an MLitt in Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) at the Glasgow School of Art. In addition to her background in industrial design, she has also worked as a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and video editor. She aims to further develop her practice within the curatorial field and aspires to work as an independent curator. At TFFS, she contributes to trailer editing and marketing.
